As someone who has previously focused solely on cardio, weight training is still very new to me. As a beginner, I was very reluctant to try new exercises and step outside of my comfort zone. However, after discussing my personal fitness goals with Sam and training alongside him, we have found routines that work for me and personalised every session to meet my needs and goals. Sam has made adjustments where necessary to cater to a previous knee injury and checked with me to ensure I am comfortable with the training sessions every step of the way. I started training with Sam a while back to help me gain back my self-confidence. I would definitely recommend Sam for anybody who's thinking about getting a personal trainer who will listen, take notes and research. I suffer from a few minor sports injuries (shoulders and lower back) from my earlier years and Sam has taken his time with me and even shown me some stretches and exercises that have massively helped my rehabilitation.
