Hi I'm Jack.
Getting a Personal Trainer can always be a bit daunting at first especially if you're unsure about the gym. I've been in the fitness industry for over 11 years now. In that time I have seen thousands of different people from beginners that have never lifted a weight before to experienced marathon runners and been able to help each individual one.
I have worked with people getting ready for their military fitness test (I was in the Royal Marines at age 18) Rehabilitating individuals with serious injuries and ailments such as slipped disks, hernias, complete knee rebuilds, pre and post natal, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, stroke victims, wheelchair users whilst also working with individuals with bipolar, autism, anxiety and depression helping those work through their struggles through talking to me and having some amazing gym sessions.
Of course I do all the basics very well with general weight loss getting fitter, stronger and healthier whilst also sometimes providing a none judgmental ear to listen.
I pride myself on giving you a tailor made experience and i will adapt myself to suit your needs, I give 110% to helping you achieve your goals.
Like Jack I used to be a sprinter, but at Wolverhampton and Bilston Club, and a breast stroke swimmer, both to club and county level, but that was many years ago. I have always enjoyed a reasonable level of fitness but after having had both hip joints replaced at a relatively young age I have sought his help. I was using the gym regularly, but not really getting anywhere. He is helping to restore lost mobility in my hips and in a long standing shoulder injury where physiotherapy failed. He has a great understanding of the body and how it works. Despite our thirty five year age gap, we get on very well and I would count him as a friend, I have always found him to be completely approachable, and professional, he always explains the benefits of a particular exercise. Jack has so far worked with me for about 9 months, an arrangement I see continuing for some time yet as he also motivates me. I would have no hesitation in recommending his service to anybody, whatever their age!
Try and find a better and more dedicated PT in/around Telford. Impossible. Jack is extremely knowledgable and helpful but most importantly he is someone you can have a laugh with and feel really comfortable around. My goal was to shape up, tone up and build some strength and I’m already seeing big differences after just 4 weeks. Would (and will) recommend Jack time and time again.
Jack takes a real consultative approach and doesn't adopt a 'one size fits all' attitude in his approach to your training. His knowledge is super impressive, not only in relation to the body but nutrition also and as one of his students this gives you the belief that you are actually working towards a goal that is absolutely achievable. We are about to adapt my plan to accommodate a new fitness goal and I have absolute faith that Jack will get me where I need to be. Seeing results is awesome - Jack definitely knows how to push and get the best out of you. Thank you Jack!
After having my baby I was left with an umbilical hernia. I knew I needed to do something to get strength back in other parts of my body to help myself. Jack has been brilliant at helping me get stronger and fitter. He really understands how the body works and has been a massive part of my new journey! Jack is very approachable and knowledgeable! I really enjoy training with Jack. He knows how to push me to get the very best out of me, and is also great fun. I always know that my sessions with Jack are going to be tough - and that's the point! I'd thoroughly recommend him as a PT.
Great bloke always got time to give good quality advice not personally had training off him but used to do his spin class and he made it great.
He's always got time to help you out and goes the extra mile with meal plans! I'd been putting off going to the gym for the last 5 years! But he makes you feel very welcome!
